Kasdan, Lippsmith, Weber, Turner LLP came to Furniture Plus Design for help in furnishing their new Honolulu Office. They had acquired a wonderful, open office with fantastic views of downtown Honolulu with roughly 2400 SqFt of space including several private offices on the perimeter and a great open area in the center. The Company wanted furniture that was modern, functional and had features that would complement their new office space without obstructing the views. We worked with them and assisted them in developing a floor plan that fit their needs and desires while remaining within their planned budget and timeframe.
We incorporated a benching system into the open area to provide a more collaborative area for the attorneys when working together on a case while taking advantage of the wonderful views. We also provided casegoods furniture in three private offices to promote “head down” work. Also included was a reception area with desking and privacy panels and a seating area adjacent for a casual waiting/meeting area. The client wanted some vibrant color in the space so the lounge seating in both areas was done in a bright cheerful color which really adds to the space.
Additionally, there was a great opportunity to capitalize on the views by providing a small seating area near the windows for quick meetings to discuss agenda or other items. For the conference room, we provided a table which incorporates power and data in the center of the table.
The client was pleased that we could complete the installation in a timely manner and allow them to utilize their new office space.
